Any occasion would be perfect for these Kahlúa truffles. While the insides of the truffles are silky smooth and contain espresso and liqueur notes, the outsides are coated with finely shaven chocolate. They both look and taste like they came straight from a fancy chocolate shop.

Making homemade truffles can be quite tricky, but this recipe is a good beginner-level one. Rolling the ganache can be difficult, but we had good success using a small cookie scoop or even a melon baller.
