We thought we had the perfect hummus recipe- until we combined it with this one. In this recipe, any hummus can be used, so we made up our favorite “Ultra Smooth Hummus” (see the “Try It With” section for more details) and added the toppings from this recipe. The additions of the chickpeas, garlic herb sauce, and parsley salad took an already amazing hummus and made it absolute perfection. To our surprise, the best part of this shawarma dip is actually the dill- it adds a brand new flavor to the hummus that makes it rave-worthy.

While this recipe contains three separate parts, they are all easy and quick to make. While we certainly recommend preparing some “Ultra Smooth Hummus,” the store bought kind can easily be used and topped with the three layers.
